The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama began a four-day tour of the Volta Region from Monday 17th August to Thursday 20th August 2020.
As part of the tour, the former President visited Dzolokpuita and Kpedze on Wednesday, 19th August and Tsito on Thursday, 20th August all in the Ho West Constituency. He met with traditional rulers, opinion leaders, the people of Ho West and activists of the NDC to reiterate his commitment to developing the Ho West District, Volta region and Ghana as a whole. He used the opportunity to officially introduce the NDC Lawmaker who doubles as the Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency; Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah to the people of Ho West.
In a Facebook post made by the Member of Parliament for the area, he appreciated the visit by the former president and he’s optimistic that Mr. Mahama will come out victorious in the General elections slated for December 7th 2020.
“It was such an honour to we the people of Ho West Constituency and the NDC fraternity to host our next President; H.E. John Dramani Mahama and his entourage as they toured our beloved constituency yesterday and today, and to officially introduce me as the Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency on the ticket of NDC.”
“The massive crowd that greeted us at almost all the communities we drove through is enough evidence that the people of Ho West and for that matter, Volta Region are fed up with the autocratic leadership of the current government.”
“We are on a rescue mission and we shall peacefully but diligently guard the ballot boxes until the last ballot paper is counted and recorded appropriately on December 7th, 2020.”
“Dzolokpuita, Kpedze, Tsito and the whole of Ho West Constituency appreciates your presence and love.”
